Gardner Lawn - Amuwo-Odofin

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
rnMow, line trim and edge lawn areas.
rnTrims, edges and maintain walks, shrub beds, and other areas to include weed pulling, mulch spreading, removal of ivy and other invasive groundcovers.
rnPrune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth (done with training and supervision).
rnMaintains pathways, potholes and redressing of gravel.
rnAssists in Spraying lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides (done with training and supervision).
rnCleans grounds, including garbage cans and ashtrays, remove outdoor litter and assist with recycling efforts.
rnPlants flowers, trees, shrubs and seeds lawn areas.
rnWater lawn, shrubs and other supplemental container plantings.
rnRepairs fences, gates, walls and walks.
rnCleans out drainage ditches, culverts, drywells, gutters and flat roofs.
rnMinor building repairs.
rnAssist with event set-up, breakdown and clean-up, working with the Rentals and Activity Manager.
rnWorks with volunteers in a courteous and respectful manner.
rnParking assistance.
rnPower washes hardscapes. Blows grounds.
rnMaintains clean appearance of hardscaping, pathways and drives including cleaning and minor repair.
rnMaintains Lakewold Gardens signs, permanent and temporary.
rnMaintains outdoor lighting including minor repairs and bulb replacement.
rnPerform mechanical maintenance of lawn equipment, irrigation system and pumps.
rnResponsible for keeping maintenance shop and tools clean.
rnServices road, Barker lot and beach front along Gravelly Lake.
rnOther duties may be assigned.
rnSupervisory Responsibilities: This job has limited supervisory responsibilities.
