mechanical engineer - Apapa

We are looking for a creative Mechanical Engineer to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence.

rnResponsibilities:
rnPerform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
rnDesign systems and components that meet needs and requirements
rnProduce outline designs
rnConduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results
rnTest and evaluate theoretical designs
rnIdentify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
rnEvaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
rnAlter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
rnEstimate budget and scope of project
rnSolicit observations from operators
rnPrepare product reports and documentation
rnEngage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods
rn
rnRequirements::
rnProven working experience in mechanical engineering
rnWorking experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
rnHands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)
rnAdequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar)
rnMathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, LabView etc)
rnSolid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
rnCreativity and analytical skills
rnAbility to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
rnTechnical writing skills
rnBSc degree in Engineering
rnprofessional certification will be an added advantage
rn
rnA working experience of 3 years in a related field
