A fast growing marketing communication company in Lagos state in the bid to expand her business portfolio is searching for an experienced communication marketing professional and leader; to join the team in building a long term growth strategy. The marketing role comes with the responsibility for developing strategy, and managing and growing the brand.

rnPOSITION: Business Development Manager
rnRESPONSIBILITIES:
rn•Ensuring company’s growth objectives are attained; articulating new business development opportunities and identifying, negotiating and managing relationships with technical partners in line with corporate goals.
rn•Implementing the business plan and developing client sales strategies
rn•Ensure customer communication occurs with a primary focus on increasing market share and revenue
rn•Monitor company performance against agreed business target
rn•Assist in the preparation of bids/proposals
rn•Develop and implement a training and development program for team members
rn•Responsible for tactical and strategic market planning
rn•Prepare and make presentations to prospective clients and network
rn•Provide regular feedback to senior management about marketplace and competitor activity
rn•Updating and management of sales contact tracking system
rn•Manage day-to-day sales relationships with existing customers
rn•Report to the Head of Department
rnQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
rn•A technical degree, Higher degree certificate in Business Administration or Business Management or Any Equivalent Certificate.
rnMBA will be of added advantage
rn•A previous marketing communications or Business Development experience
rn•Minimum of 1-3 years cognate experience, 1 of which must have been in marketing communications industry
rn•Proven ability to advice and convince clients
rn•Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
rn•Proficiency with MS Office and internet
rn•Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas and goals
rn•Display a positive and upbeat attitude looking to foster an environment where real success occurs.
rn•Ability to work both independently and cohesively in a team environment.
rn•Able to travel extensively, Must be Proactive and energetic approach, flexible
rnQUALIFICATION REQUIRED
rnMinimum of OND, HND / Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Managerial studies or any specialized related field;
rnMSc / MA will be of added advantage
