Civil Engineer Job Duties:
rn
rnDesigns construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models.
rnPrepares engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.
rnDetermines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
rnPrepares feasibility study by analyzing engineering design; conducting environmental impact studies; assembling data.
rnPrepares engineering documents by developing construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
rnConfirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress; inspecting construction site; verifying calculations and placements.
rnFulfills project requirements by training and guiding operators.
rnMaintains operations by enforcing project and operational policies and procedures.
rnProvides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
rn
rnApplicant must have at least 1 and above years of experience in these field of specialization.
rn
rn REQUIREMENTS: All applicants should have a minimum of OND, HND, BACHELOR'S DEGREE and other related discipline of this vacant and professional certification is an added advantage.
