Lab Assistant - Ibeju/Lekki

We are looking for a responsible lab assistant to carry out sampling, testing, measuring, recording and analysing in cooperation with the rest of the lab team. The successful candidate will have experience in a laboratory environment and accuracy in order to extract reliable and valid results.

rnResponsibilities:
rnPerform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases
rnPrepare samples/specimens
rnProduce accurate and reliable data and interpret results
rnFollow methodologies in carrying routine tasks
rnResearch relevant topics and gather information/data
rnAdhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
rnKeep abreast of all industry developments and best practices
rnDocument all activities, record results and insert/retrieve data
rnMaintain work area and equipment
rnProvide administrative assistance

rnRequirements:
rnProven working experience as a lab assistant
rnFamiliarity with automated laboratory equipment
rnComputer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information Systems
rnAccuracy and close attention to detail
rnStrong analytical judgement
rnCurrent licence or relevant certification
rnBSc degree in Medical Technology, Biology or related field
rnprofessional certification will be an added advantage
rn
rnA working experience of 3 years in a related field
rn
