Senior Accountant Ibeju/Lekki

Responsibilities:
rnVerify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
rnProduce error-free accounting reports and present their results
rnAnalyze financial information and summarize financial status
rnSpot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
rnProvide technical support and advice on Management accountant
rnReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
rnManage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
rnParticipate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
rnProvide input into department’s goal setting process
rnPrepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
rnAssist with tax audits and tax returns
rnDirect internal and external audits to ensure compliance
rnPlan, assign and review staff’s work
rnSupport month-end and year-end close process
rnDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
rnEnsure compliance with GAAP principles
rnLiaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.

rnREQUIREMENTS:
rn All applicants should have a minimum of OND, HND, BACHELOR'S DEGREE and other related discipline of this vacant and professional certification is an added advantage.Applicant must have at least 1 and above years of experience in these field of specialization.
