Job Brief:
rnTECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER is to provide enterprise level technical support to our customers via phone, web, email, chat and other support channels as required.
rn
rnRESPONSIBILITIES:
rnTake ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
rnResearch, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
rnFollow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
rnProvide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
rnEnsure proper recording and closure of all issues
rnPrepare accurate and timely reports
rnDocument knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
rn
rnREQUIREMENTS:
rnBS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
rnProven working experience in enterprise technical support
rnBasic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, utilities and scripting
rnStrong problem-solving skills
rnExcellent client-facing skills
rnExcellent written and verbal communication skills
rn
