rnWe are currently looking for a Counselling Psychologist that can use psychological theory and research in therapeutic work to help clients with a variety of problems. These problems can include difficult life issues and mental health conditions.
rnLife issues that people struggle to deal with might include:
rnbereavement;
rndomestic violence;
rnrelationship difficulties;
rnsexual abuse.
rnMental health conditions include:
rnanxiety;
rndepression;
rneating disorders;
rnpost-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);
rnpsychosis.
rnYou also need to be able to work collaboratively with the client in a holistic and insightful way to enable them to consider change.
rnResponsibilities
rnCounselling psychologists work with diverse client groups, including children, adults, families, couples and groups.
