rnWe are currently looking for a team player to join our dental practice as a dental hygienist.
rnYou will work directly with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients.
rn
rnResponsibilities:
rnPrepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols
rnPrepares patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patient
rnProvides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests
rnRemove calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth
rnApply preventive materials to the teeth teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;
rnCounsel patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health
rn
rnQualifications:
rnThorough evaluation of oral health including teeth, gums, pathology, restorations
rnLaser therapy experience, certification
rnRecognize and suggest scaling and root planning when necessary
rnSkilled to assist DDS in exams, point out all areas of concern, questions, thoroughly
rnBe able to answer patient questions with confidence and factually
rnEnergetic, lively, people oriented
rnTeam player and supportive of practice values and philosophy
rnGreat at building patient rapport
rnExcellent listening skills
rnEmbraces hygiene as their career
rnProgressive thinking and a desire to learn new things
