rnWe are urgently looking for a Medical Receptionist to attend to patients on the phone and in person. Coordinate and organize appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment and support delivery of quality patient care.
rnMain Job Tasks and Responsibilities
rngreet patients
rnregister patients according to established protocols
rnassist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance
rnensure patient information is accurate including billing information
rninform patients of medical office procedures and policy
rnmaintain and manage patient records
rnmove patients through appointments as scheduled
rnanswer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
rntransfer calls as required
rnschedule patient appointments
rncollect co-pays and payments
rnreport statistics as required
rnschedule hospital admissions, tests, scans and outside appointments for patients
rnobtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals
rnrespond and comply to requests for information
rndeal with incoming and outgoing post
rncomplete other clerical duties as assigned
rnmaintain stock of forms and office supplies
rnensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
rnsafeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
rn
rnInterested applicants must possess a minimum degree of HND/B.Sc or any other higher qualification
