rnresponsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives.

rnMain Job Tasks and Responsibilities
rndevelop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
rnset individual sales targets with sales team
rndelegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
rnco-ordinate sales action plans for individual salespeople
rnoversee the activities and performance of the sales team
rnensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly
rnmonitor the achievement of sales objectives by the sales team
rnliaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
rnevaluate performance of sales staff
rnprovide feedback, support and coaching to the sales team
rnplan and direct sales team training
rnassist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
rnco-ordinate and monitor online sales activity
rninvestigate lost sales and customer accounts
rntrack, collate and interpret sales figures
rnforecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
rngenerate timely sales reports
rndevelop pricing schedules and rates
rnformulate sales policies and procedures
rnhelp prepare budgets
rncontrol expenses and monitor budgets
rnmaintain inventory control
rnconduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
rnanalyze data to identify sales opportunities
rndevelop promotional ideas and material
rnattend trade meetings and industry conventions
rncultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts
