Accountant - Lagos Island

We are looking for a competent Accountant to handle prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of our business.

rnResponsibilities
rn
rnManage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
rnPrepare budget and financial forecasts
rnPublish financial statements in time
rnConduct month-end and year-end close process
rnCollect, analyze and summarize account information
rnCompute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc
rnDevelop periodic reports for management
rnAudit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
rnKeep information confidential and secure them with random database backups
rnKeep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
rn
rnRequirements
rn
rnThorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
rnExcellent accounting software user
rnStrong attention to detail and confidentiality
rn
rnREQUIREMENTS:
rnAll applicants should have a minimum of OND. Possession of HND/BSc and their equivalents including professional certificate are added advantage.
