rnKey Responsibilities
rnResponsibilities 1 – Ecosystem Management
rnAs an ecosystem supervisor for our client, your job is to grow, inspire and support our ecosystem.
rn
rnResponsibilities will change from time to time and will include:
rnIdentifying and onboarding new ecosystem participants – consultants, delivery partners, affiliates, etc
rnOrganizing and facilitating events as required
rnDeveloping training materials for ecosystem participants – particularly video based training
rnHandling support-related issues
rn
rnResponsibilities 2 – Developer Evangelist
rnOur client’s developers are a critical community. This will be a big part of their job. They will be the bridge between our client’s internal engineering team and the developer community at large.
rnThe developer evangelist might be found serving in many different capacities. Most of these capacities will involve getting input/support from our client’s engineering team and also giving the engineering team
rnfeedback and advise:
rnWorking with our client’s engineers to create technical content for publication on our blog and other channels to show developers how to implement specific solutions or use new technologies
rnOrganizing & speaking at developer events and helping our client’s engineers to do the same
rnSpeaking & sharing best practices and success stories at user groups & conferences
rnFacilitating technical workshops and meetings
rnConnecting & networking with other developers and entrepreneurs to identify how our client might help them be more awesome
rnGathering & socializing product feedback that will inform engineering, sales and marketing decision making
rnOur client will support their developers wherever they are, on forums, social media and everywhere in between
rnIdentify gifted developers and assist in recruiting them
rn
rnSkills and Experience
rnDeep understanding of ecommerce
rnAccess to a wide network of software developers and plenty of experience in working with developers
rnAbility to connect with university students and the “youth population” generally
rnStrong technical writing skills demonstrated via blog posts and other written work
rnStrong research skills, the successful candidates will also have their fingers on the pulse current development technologies across several platforms
rnSocial and hustling skills, a lot of great connections and opportunities are discovered simply by getting out & talking to people, this is something they must be able to do well
rnPublic speaking experience or aptitude is essential for inspiring developers. An ecosystem evangelist needs to deliver presentations that are effective and respectful of an audience’s time & attention
rnWillingness to travel to anywhere our client’s various communities live and stay productive & professional on the road
rnAbility to work irregular hours and weekends to support hackathons, conferences, user groups and other events
rnStrong communication skills and an extensive network in the fast-emerging Nigerian technology ecosystem
rnMinimum of 4 years’ experience
