A foremost logistics Business Group in Nigeria, with leading footprints in cargo, haulage, passenger transport in West Africa Coast, seeks the services of a strongly I.T.-knowledgeable Head of Operations to assume nation-wide responsibility for leading and directing the overall Operations organization of its coach and light vehicle Passenger Transport Division.

rnThis senior management position requires an outstanding hands-on capacity to coordinate, and ensure the efficiency of, a vast business operations activity base, with the responsibility for service quality, vehicle scheduling, terminal activities, crew and staff management, rapid-fire issues resolution, brand visibility, as well as customer growth, customer retention and market intelligence.

rnREQUIREMENTS:

rn Minimum of a good university degree from a reputable university, preferably in business management, project
rn management or a relevant area of Engineering.
rn A strong, credible experience in logistics or operations management in passenger, cargo, haulage, courier or airline
rn businesses.
rn Demonstrable, versatile I.T. knowledge, with a clear capacity/track record in developing and driving a fully technology-
rn enabled business operations strategy and the platform, focused on accelerating the online visibility of the company,
rn responding competitively to shifts and changes in traveler demographics, and generating distinctive operational
rn efficiencies in the activities of the business.
rn Confident, self-driven, reliable, ethically sound professional with an ownership attitude to his work.
rn Ability to maintain an excellent personal relationship with staff across the entire spectrum of the organizational
rn workforce.
rn Excellent networking and communication skills.
rn Fast thinker with a good attention span, able to aggressively and proactively follow through on issues, assignments
rn and challenges.
