Maintenance Supervisor - Lagos Island

We are looking for competent Maintenance Supervisors to manage maintenance in our facilities. You will be responsible for hiring and training staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations.

rnResponsibilities:
rn-Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
rn-Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
rn-Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance.
rn-Inspect and maintain building systems.
rn-Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
rn-Participate in coordination of projects.
rn-Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

rnCandidate Requirements:
rn-Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
rn-Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
rn-Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
rn-Understanding of budgeting and performance management
rn-Excellent planning and leadership abilities
rn-An eye for detail
rn-Computer savvy
rn-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
rn-BSc/HND in relevant field
rn-Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are added advantages
