Physical Therapist Lagos Island

We are looking for an educated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to help patients improve their mobility and move forward. You will work closely and under the direction of the physical therapist, treating patients with medical problems or other conditions that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities.

rnResponsibilities:
rnImplement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner
rnInstruct and counsel patients effectively in exercises
rnIdentify patient’s needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differences
rnRecommend options, courses of action or modifications in selected treatments ensuring patient’s progress, safety and comfort
rnApply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injury
rnComplete documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy services
rnPerform selected data collection and obtain accurate information
rnMeasure performance and report on patient’s medical record
rnParticipate in patient status judgments
rnAdhere to ethical and legal standards
rnEnsure continued competence and updated field knowledge

rnRequirements:
rnProven working experience as physical therapist assistant
rnExcellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards
rnHands on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities
rnAbility to communicate and instruct effectively
rnHealth care administration and documentation skills
rnLicence to practice or relevant certification
rn
rnprofessional certification will be an added advantage
rn
rnA working experience of 2 years in a related field
