Project Engineer Lagos Island

We are looking for an accountable project engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field

rnResponsibilities:
rn• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
rn• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
rn• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
rn• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
rn• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
rn• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
rn• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

rnRequirements and Skills:
rn• Proven working experience as a project engineer
rn• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
rnAdvanced MS Office skills
rn• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
rn• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
rn• Project management and supervision skills
rn• Decision making ability and leadership skills
rn• Current engineer license
rn• Time management and organization skills
rn
rnEducation and Experience:
rnApplicant must have at least 1 and above years of experience in these field of specialization.
rnAll applicants should have a minimum of OND/HND/BACHELOR'S DEGREE in Civil Engineering or Architecture or other related discipline for this vacancy
