rnProvide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
rnType accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
rnPrepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
rnReconcile accounts in a timely manner
rnDaily enter key data of financial transactions in database
rnProvide assistance and support to company personnel
rnResearch, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
rnInform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
rnFunction in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
rnConstantly update job knowledge
rnRequirements
rn
rnProven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
rnFamiliarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
rnCompetency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
rnHands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
rnAccuracy and attention to detail
rnAptitude for numbers
rnAbility to perform filing and record keeping tasks
rnData entry and word processing skills
rnWell organized
rnHigh school degree
rnAssociate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus
rn
rnResponsibilities
