Responsibilities

rnDesign stable, reliable and effective databases
rnOptimize and maintain legacy systems
rnModify databases according to requests and perform tests
rnSolve database usage issues and malfunctions
rnLiaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
rnGather user requirements and identify new features
rnDevelop technical and training manuals
rnProvide data management support to users
rnEnsure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
rnResearch and suggest new database products, services and protocols
rnRequirements
rn
rnProven work experience as a Database developer
rnIn-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
rnKnowledge of software development and user interface web applications
rnHands on experience with SQL
rnFamiliarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and Oracle
rnExcellent analytical and organization skills
rnAn ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
rnExcellent verbal and written communication skills
rnBSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
