Fish Farm Manager - Lagos Mainland

A fish farm manager is responsible for the breeding and rearing of fish for the wholesale or retail trade. Farms breed their own fish by hatching eggs from adult stock and then rearing them before selling on to purchasers.

rn possessing stock skills such as fish handling, spawning, grading and harvesting;
rn updating knowledge of fish health and nutrition;
rn being aware of different water management techniques;
rn adapting to new technologies as they develop and learning practical skills;
rn maintaining records of stocks.
rn planning breeding programmes and growing schedules to obtain maximum efficiency;
rn adhering to environmental standards;
rn understanding legislation and how to implement this into practical application;
