Food technologists are responsible for the safe and efficient development, modification and/or manufacture of food products and processes
rnJob Duties/Responsibilities
rn• controlling production hygiene and quality control standards;
rn• testing and examining samples;
rn• writing reports.
rn• ensuring that stringent food safety standards are met;
rn• identifying and choosing products from suppliers;
rn• evaluating and inspecting suppliers;
rn• liaising with marketing staff;
rn• generating new product ideas;
rn• monitoring the use of additives;
rnQualification
rnBsc/Hnd/Ond in Food Technology or any related field
rnAdditional certification will be a plus
rnProven experience will be an added advantage
