rn Job Responsibilities

rn• Manage information technology and computer systems
rn• Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
rn• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
rn• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
rn• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
rn• Manage staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
rn• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
rn• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
rn• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
rn• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
rnRequirements
rn• Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience
rn• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
rn• Expertise in data centre management and data governance
rn• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
rn• Ability to manage personnel
rn• HND/B.sc in Computer Science, MIS or related field
