rnWe are looking for a loan officer to evaluate, authorize approval or deny loan applications for people or for business. You will act as liaison between customers and our financial institution and you will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.

rnResponsibilities
rn
rnEvaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
rnInterview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
rnDetermine all applicable rations and metrics and set up debt payment plans
rnCommunicate with clients either to request or to provide information
rnJustify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
rnComplete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
rnUpdate job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
rnMaintain and update account records
rnAssess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
rnDevelop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
rnGo the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process
rnΟperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

rnRequirements
rnFamiliarity with computers and banking applications/software
rnSolid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
rnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
rnCustomer satisfaction orientation and sales competencies
rnAbility to work in a goal oriented environment
rn
rnQUALIFICATION:
rnApplicants must possess minimum of National Diploma/Bachelor Degree in any related field. A professional qualification will be an added advantage.
