.As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office/hospital. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

rnThe target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
rn
rnResponsibilities:
rnInterview patients and document basic medical history
rnOrganize and schedule appointments
rnUpdate and file medical records and insurance reports
rnArrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
rnCheck with patients and type up patients charts
rnAssist during medical examinations
rnProduce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
rnHandle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
rnPrepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
rn
rnRequirements:
rnProven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
rnKnowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
rnExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
rnSocial perceptiveness and service oriented
rnExcellent written and verbal communication skills
rnStrong organisational and planning skills
rn
rnprofessional certification will be an added advantage
rn
rnA working experience of 2 years in a related field
