rnThe Medical Sales Representative is responsible for generating consumer demand for MSION’s products and services and for ensuring that those services are as widely available as possible in his/her assigned territory with in Nigeria.

rnTo market the company’s products in order to establish, develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationship with customers.
rn
rnTasks and responsibilities
rnPresent and market Marie Stopes’s products and services
rnTrain Healthcare professionals like Pharmacists, Nurses / Midwives on the proper use of products and related patient counseling and referral schemes
rnPay regular visits and make calls to existing and prospective customers with a view to maintaining / establishing good relationships with them
rnRespond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
rnCommunicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
rnIdentify customer needs and proactively seek to address them
rnAssist with developing and implementing efficient and effective customer service strategies
rnMonitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
rnAttend trainings to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
rnAdhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment
rnAny other tasks as assigned from time to time.

rnTo grow the customer base, business volume and overall market share of the company.

rnQualifications & Experience:
rn. B.Pharm. or a closely related Medical Science degree.
rn· 2 years’ relevant experience.
rn· Track record of achieving sales, financial and non-financial targets.
rnSkills:
rn· Strong team building, communication and inter-personal skills.
rn· Planning, organizational, negotiation and selling skills.
rn· Transaction processing, relationship management & problem solving skills
rn· Driving skills.
rn· Highly self-sufficient, entrepreneurial, innovative, inspirational and persuasive.
rn· Strong personal commitment to the mission and goals of MSI.
rn· Must be pro-choice.
rn· Must be prepared to travel.
