rnResponsibilities
rn Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
rn Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
rn Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
rn Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
rn Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
rn Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
rn Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
rn Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
rn Consult and practice with other health professionals
rn Document patient care services
rnRequirements
rn Proven work experience as a physical therapist
rn Intensive education and clinical expertise
rn Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
rn Current knowledge of treatment practices
