Responsibilities
rn
rnAssess patients’ health and their demands and aim to fulfill them as well as possible
rnIssue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine
rnInform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise
rnAcquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions
rnMonitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events
rnAttend to emergencies
rnProvide help during surgeries
rnPrepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections etc)
rnProvide therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching etc.)
rnCultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
rnComply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
rnCollaborate effectively with team members of various specializations
