Responsibilities

rnDevelop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
rnEmploy a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
rnObserve each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
rnEncourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
rnGuide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
rnOrganize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
rnTrack children’s progress and report to parents
rnCommunicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
rnCollaborate with other educators
rnMaintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
rn
rnRequirements
rn
rnProven experience as a Preschool Teacher
rnExcellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
rnFamiliarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
rnExcellent communication and instructional skills
rnAbility to act as mediator between children
rnCool-tempered, friendly and reliable
rnBalance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
rnCertification in child CPR
rnBSc/BA in education or relevant field
rnminimum of 3 years experience in the relevant field
