Responsibilities:
rn
rnKeep calendars (editorial, press conferences, events etc.) and media lists
rnParticipate in brainstorming and planning sessions
rnAssist in organizing and execution of events, campaigns etc.
rnConduct research to support PR planning
rnDraft and distribute content such as newsletters and releases
rnEdit videos and presentations as assigned
rnSupport relations with stakeholders, media, vendors etc.
rnAssist in tracking media coverage or PR metrics (e.g. web analytics)
rnInvent ways to streamline communication and plan execution
rnUndertake general administrative and clerical duties
rn
rnRequirements:
rn
rnProven experience as PR assistant or similar position
rnUnderstanding of PR and marketing concepts and practices
rnWillingness to follow industry trends and current methods
rnKnowledge of video production and editing
rnComputer savvy; working knowledge of databases and design software (e.g. Photoshop) is a plus
rnExcellent communication and writing skills
rnWell-organized, able to work with deadlines
rnAn analytical mind with attention to detail
rnOutgoing and confident
rnBSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field
rnminimum of 3 to 5 years experience is vital
rn
