rnMain Job Tasks and Responsibilities
rngreet customers
rnfind out the customer's needs
rnrecommend, select and help locate the right merchandise
rndescribe a product's features and benefits
rndemonstrate use and operation of the product
rnanswer customer queries regarding the store and the merchandise
rnmake suggestions and encourage purchase of products
rnprovide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of merchandise and delivery options
rnprovide information about financing available
rnreceive and process cash, check and charge/credit payments
rnprovide change and receipts
rnbag or package purchases
rngift wrap merchandise
rncount money, sort charge slips and balance monies
rnmaintain sales records
rnplace special orders
rnorganize and process merchandise exchanges
rnprocess repair or alteration of merchandise
rnstay current with sales prices
rnrecognize and monitor security issues
rnarrange and display merchandise
rnkeep merchandise area tidy
rntake stock inventory
rnrequisition new stock
