rnResponsibilities

rn Review insurance applications for compliance and adherence
rn Assess clients’ background information and financial status
rn Liaise with specialists to gather information and opinions
rn Weight loss exposures and determine underwriting alternatives
rn Draw up a quotes for competitive insurance premiums
rn Negotiate and define the specific terms of insurance policies with brokers or policyholders
rn Keep detailed records of policies underwritten and decisions made
rn Balance between mass and homogeneity of risks to achieve predictability of future results
rn Develop and maintain a profitable book of business for the insurer
rn Follow applicable insurance laws
rn
rn
rnQUALIFICATION
rn1. Minimum of Bsc in the relevant field
rn2. Ability to lead a team successfully
rn3. Must be result oriented
rn4. Must have good communication skills
rn5. Working experience is an added advantage
