Warehouse Manager - Lagos Mainland

rnWe are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

rnUltimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
rn
rnResponsibilities:
rn
rnStrategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
rnOversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
rnSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
rnInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
rnAdhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
rnMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
rnManage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
rnPrepare annual budget
rnLiaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
rnPlan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
rnRecruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
rnProduce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
rnReceive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

rnRequirements:
rn
rnProven work experience as a warehouse manager
rnExpertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
rnProven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
rnStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
rnHands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
rnLeadership skills and ability manage staff
rnStrong decision making and problem solving skills
rnExcellent communication skills
rnBSC degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
