Broadcast presenters provide the public voice or face to a wide range of broadcast television and radio shows with the purpose of offering entertainment and/or information.
rnJob Duties/Responsibilities
rnOrganising meetings, interviews and schedules;
rnOperating technical equipment, such as radio ‘desks’.
rnUndertaking relevant background research;
rnInterviewing guests via the telephone or in person;
rnWriting and rehearsing scripts;
rnMeeting with programme directors/producers to discuss programmes/shows;
rnGiving reviews of newly released books, films, music etc;
rnProviding programme links;
rnChoosing and playing music;
rnPresenting traffic, weather and/or news summaries;
