Assistant Logistics Officer Ikeja

Job Description:
rn• Assist in the logistics office
rn• Manage all logistics operation including materials and transportation system to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
rn• Track and follow up shipments of building materials including in-bound and out-bound
rn• Manage the entire documentation concerning shipments for accurate record keeping and archival
rn• Liaise with shippers on Recovery of damage Materials incurred during importation and Ensure inventory management in store are in place
rn• Develop reports on building Material Movement and Proper Use of Materials distributed to sites
rn• Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans.
rn• Arrange Censorship (Payment, Application and proper communication on date and time
rn• Effective Trailer Distribution, Request of trailer list from sites, report on trailer list to Operations Manager.
rn• Ensure entire distribution system is effective and efficient
rnQualification:
rn• At least ND/NCE from relevant field.
rn• Experience: 0-2 years' experience in logistics
rnKnowledge, Skills and Competency:
rn• Transportation - Knowledge of principles and methods for transporting goods, including the relative costs and benefits.
rn• Dependability - Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
rn• Must possess excellent communications skills (Emails, phone calls, sms etc)
rn• Must have good inter-personal skills
rn• Excellent leadership skills.
rn• Good information technology skills.
rn• Problem-solving skills and must be able to work under extreme pressure.
rn• Must exhibit time management skills and multi task.
rn• Must be able to give Feedback as often as possible.
rn• Must be able to do proper follow up on the movement of shipments
rn• A team player
rn• Must be a computer literate
