Event Coordinator Ikeja

We are looking for an experienced Event coordinator to organize excellent events. You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from choosing venues to evaluating success afterwards.
rnResponsibilities
rnUnderstand requirements for each event
rnPlan event with attention to financial and time constraints
rnBook venues and schedule speakers
rnResearch vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
rnNegotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
rnHire personnel
rnManage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
rnDo final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
rnOversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
rnEvaluate event’s success and submit reports
rnRequirements
rnProven experience as event coordinator
rnA proven track record of organizing successful events
rnProficient in MS Office
rnExcellent vendor management skills
rnKnowledge of basic recruitment practices
rnOutstanding communication and negotiation ability
rnWell-organized with multi-tasking skills
rnAble to handle stress and remain calm
rnProblem-solving ability
