Manage and oversee the daily
rnoperations of the accounting
rndepartment
rnProcess month and end year process,
rnaccounts payable/receivable, cash
rnreceipts, general ledger, payroll and
rnutilities, treasury, budgeting, cash
rnforecasting, revenue and expenditure
rnvariance analysis, capital assets
rnreconciliations, trust account
rnstatement reconciliations, check runs,
rnfixed asset activity, debt activity etc
rnMonitor and analyse accounting data
rnand produce financial reports or
rnstatements
rnEstablish and enforce proper
rnaccounting methods, policies and
rnprinciples
rnCoordinate and complete annual
rnaudits
rnProvide recommendations
rnImprove systems and procedures and
rninitiate corrective actions
rnAssign projects and direct staff to
rnensure compliance and accuracy
rnMeet financial accounting objectives
rnEstablish and maintain fiscal files and
rnrecords to document transactions
rnRequirements
rnProven working experience as
rnAccounting Manager
rnAdvanced computer skills on MS
rnOffice, accounting software and
rndatabases
rnAbility to manipulate large amounts of
rndata
rnProven knowledge of accounting
rnprinciples, practices, standards, laws
rnand regulations
rnHigh attention to detail and accuracy
rnAbility to direct and supervise
rnBS degree in Accounting or Finance
rn
