rnAs a Broadcast presenters, u will provide the public voice or face to a wide range of broadcast television and radio shows with the purpose of offering entertainment and/or information.
rn
rnJob Duties
rn• organising meetings, interviews and schedules
rn• operating technical equipment, such as radio ‘desks’.
rn• undertaking relevant background research
rn• interviewing guests via the telephone or in person
rn• writing and rehearsing scripts
rn• meeting with programme directors/producers to discuss programmes/shows
rn• giving reviews of newly released books, films, music etc
rn• providing programme links
rn• choosing and playing music
rn• presenting traffic, weather and/or news summaries
rn
rnQualification: HND/B.sc in Mass communication or related discipline
rn
rnSkills
rn• Adaptable
rn• Able to work well under pressure
rn• Good skills
