rnOversee all technical aspects and technological resources of the organisation using an active and practical approach for the purpose of organisational growth. Establishes a technological vision for the organisation and leads the company's technological development to attain the company's strategic goals.

rnJob Responsibilities:
rn Establish the company’s technical vision and leads all aspects of the company’s technological development.
rnDirects the company’s technical strategic direction, development and future growth.
rn Develop framework, policies and procedures to guide the company’s technical operations and to enable the division to provide high quality services to customers and attain set goals and objectives.
rn Propose budget to provide effective services and control and monitor division’s expenditure, in accordance with approved budget and associated rules and procedures.
rn Monitor, analyse and stay abreast of the offerings and technologies of competitors to ensure that the organization maintains a competitive edge and operational excellence.
rn Maintain and develop industry knowledge including awareness of emerging companies, products and industry leaders.
rn Oversee the development of various Terms of References and Service Level Agreements between organization, service providers and consultants in line with approved framework.
rn Develop a technical service structure capable of sustaining longer term operational requirements including operational availability and quality demands.
rn Identify, evaluate and track the development needs and performance of staff within the division, providing opportunities for staff to build on the company’s investment in their training and improve productivity.
rn Establish governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved.
rn Communicate the company’s technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
rn Manage vendor relationships; establish quality assurance process in materials being used.
rn Conduct code reviews and specification conformance testing.
rn Any other duty of related responsibilities.
