rnInsurance brokers or agents act as the link between insurance companies and customers. Insurance brokers or agents would use knowledge of the insurance market to find the most suitable policies for individual or business clients.

rnJob Duties/Responsibilities
rn
rnrenewing or changing existing policies
rnensuring cover and documentation meets legal and regulatory requirements
rngathering information from clients to assess their insurance needs and evaluating their risks
rnresearching policies from a number of insurance companies, comparing features, level of cover and price
rnarranging insurance cover for clients, submitting details to insurers
rnnegotiating with insurers for policies at the best terms
rninputting data to a computer system, issuing documentation and keeping detailed records
rncollecting insurance premiums and processing accounts
rnadvising customers who are making a claim their insurance policy
rnpreparing reports for insurance underwriters and surveyors, in complex cases.

rnREQUIREMENTS: All applicants should have a minimum of HND, BSC and other related discipline of this vacant and professional certification is an added advantage.Applicant must have at least 2 and above years of experience in these field of specialization.
