rnDUTIES OF INTERNAL AUDITOR
rn Manage the Internal Audit function of the company..
rn Develop and maintain a charter for the Internal Audit function which reflects the Office's responsibilities, authority, and reporting relationships.
rnPreparation of annual Audit plan for the company and review of the monthly audit programme of each of the company within the group.
rn Develop and obtain proper approval for goals, audit work schedules, staffing plans, and financial budgets for the Department.
rn Conduct scheduled and special audits and make recommendations for improvement.
rn Provide support and information on audit issues to management and the respective Board of Directors of businesses reviewed
rn Perform a field survey to all project sites and facilities to provide a business assurance or exceptional report to management.
rnCreate a framework for internal audit processes for a diverse group of companies
rn Ensure reliability of financial reporting to the Board of Directors.
rn Ensure harmonization and uniformity of internal control standards in all companies
rn Develop and ensure compliance to policy and process manuals
rn Supervise system and operational audit
rn Implement systems and processes to prevent and/or detect frauds and errors early
rn Manage the entities to ensure all procedures and controls inherent in the business are documented and followed, while ensuring standardization across the group.
rn Assessing the internal control across the group and identifying significant control deficiencies. Recommend solutions to issues arising from control review and ensure execution of remediation plans
rn Provide advice and support on audit issues to the Board of Directors
rn Liaise with external auditors on financial reporting
rn Work with diverse teams to ensure that agreed internal audit recommendations are applied and embedded
