Junior Accountant - Lagos Mainland

Eolicconcept seeks an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial
rndepartment by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of
rnprofessionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s
rnfinances.
rnPreparing
rnfinancial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant’s
rnday-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting
rnprinciples and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
rn Responsibilities
rn Posting and processing
rn journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
rn Updating accounts receivable
rn and issue invoices
rn Updating accounts payable
rn and perform reconciliations
rnResponsibilities
rn Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according
rn to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
rn Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
rn Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately
rn available when needed
rn Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
rn Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
rn Requirements
rn Proven experience as a junior accountant
rn Excellent organizing abilities
rn Great attention to detail
rn Good with numbers and
rn figures and an analytical acumen
