rnJob Details:
rn The Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Systems Engineer/Plant Engineer and
rn the`
rn Develop and ensure execution of maintenance activity plans.
rn Review job requests, create job orders, schedule and allocate maintenance work for plant or
rn part of as assigned.
rn In tandem with MCs, control scheduled maintenance activities on the lines or utilities.
rn Determine and arrange resources such as spares, tools and other materials as may be
rn required for maintenance tasks.
rn Recommended maintenance mix and schedule improvements based on status reports of
rn executed maintenance schedules.
rn Manage performance of business unit, self and all other engineering maintenance staff via
rn approved metrics& KBIs
rn Custodian of all engineering maintenance records including staff related matters & equipment
rn history.
rn As directed, prepare and keep staff development actions including skill gap analysis, tools
rn analysis, training plans etc.
rn As directed, carryout budget preparation, implementation and cost monitoring.
rn Responsible for maintenance IS management including preparation of visual intrusions and
rn other displays as reqd.
rn Measures/evaluates equipment efficiencies, downtime and assist in development of
rn maintenance requirements
rn Any other tasks as may be assigned to him/her by line manager considered to enhance
rn maintenance planning.

rnRequirements:
rn Education level Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent certificate (HND)
rn Excellent degree of computer literacy especially MS Excel and Ppt
rn Good command of the English language-Spoken and written
rn Good command of SAP EAM Software
rn Proven familiarity with budgeting procedures.
rn Significant experience with a measure of cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing
rn environment.
rn Good understanding and experience of current WC manufacturing methodologies.
rn Good understanding of plant HQSE modalities and codes.
rn Good oral communication, influencing, analytical and relationship skills, installation of new
rn plant equipment and extension of the current plants.
rn Understanding of business case/cost benefits analysis preparation and basic financial
rn analysis tools. Experience in practical project management
