Manufacturing Operations Manager Lagos Mainland

Ask Resource is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in operations and engineering management from a best-of-class semiconductor / MEMS wafer fabrication facility. He /she is highly motivated to create and manage a positive, efficient, and productive working environment and lead the team to produce devices and meet our performance, delivery, quality, cost and customer satisfaction objectives. He / she will work closely with several other member teams within the organization, to drive new product introduction, continuous product quality and process improvements, and cost reduction.
Rresponsibilities include:

* Making strategic and tactical decisions on the overall operation of the organization to meet quality, delivery, revenue and cost objectives, including: manufacturing / production, production control and planning, quality engineering, equipment and facilities engineering, inventory and materials control, and customer support.

* Meeting quality targets as measured by in-process metrics;

* Achieving inventory and cost targets, including scrap costs

* Managing the wafer fab equipment and facilities in accordance to environmental and safety regulations

* Participating in annual strategic planning activities with operations and management teams to set realistic, achievable, and quantifiable goals

* Achieving strategic objectives set during the strategic planning cycle

* Reporting the status of operations on a weekly basis and on a quarterly basis

* Create expense and capital budgets, policies and measurable performance metrics and feedback loops for the organization.

* Monitoring and positively influencing financial and manufacturing metrics to meet the organization s goals. Providing regular reports to management on the state and the future of the organization.

* Prioritizing production schedules and managing resources to meet production goals

* Assessing technology / equipment capabilities relative to current and future requirements and recommend necessary resource investments to close gaps. Ensure infrastructure are sufficient to meet customer requirements and needs.

* Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance of the production facility is maintained

* Participate in activities at the Operations Group level, as required by senior management
