Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find the most cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to minimize our procurement expenses so that the company can invest in its growth and people.

rnDiscover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships
rnNegotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms
rnApprove the ordering of necessary goods and services
rnFinalize details of orders and deliveries
rnExamine and re-evaluate existing contracts
rnTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
rnCollaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
rnForesee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
rnAnticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
rnPerform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements
rnControl spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
rnRequirements

rnProven working experience as a procurement manager
rnKnowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
rnTalent in negotiations and networking
rnGood knowledge of supplier or third party management software
rnAptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
rnExperience in collecting and analysing data
rnStrong leadership capabilities
rnBSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or any relevant management qualifications
