rnWe are looking for an experienced senior accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
rnResponsibilities
rn
rn Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
rn Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
rn Analyse financial information and summarise financial status
rn Provide technical support and advice on management
rn Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
rn Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
rn Provide input into department’s goal setting process
rn Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
rn Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
rn Plan, assign and review staff’s work
rn Support month-end and year-end close process
rn Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
rn
rnRequirements
rn
rn Proven senior accounting experience
rn Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
rn Awareness of business trends
rn Experience with creating financial statements
rn Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
rn Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
rn Accuracy and attention to detail
rn Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
rn BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

rnApplicant must possess a minimum of Diploma/Degree Certificate from any related field of profession. Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
