Technical Support Engineer - Lagos Mainland

We are looking for a bright Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise level technical support to our customers. This technician will provide support via phone, web, email, chat and other channels as required. A background in engineering or IT support is required.

rnRESPONSIBILITIES:

rn*Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
rn*Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
rn*Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
rn*Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
rn*Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
rn*Prepare accurate and timely reports
rn*Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
rn
rnREQUIREMENTS:
rn
rn*B.Sc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
rn*Proven working experience in enterprise technical support, IT support or as a technical engineer
rn*Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, utilities and scripting
rn*Strong problem-solving skills
rn*Excellent client-facing skills
rn*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
